A loud siren automatically adjusts its sound output to be louder than the background noise level, so can always be heard.

WERMA is presenting a loud siren which automatically adjusts its sound output to the background noise level The standard version achieves a sound output of up to 107dB depending on the voltage

An innovative second version of the product automatically adjusts the sound output of the alarm to the background noise level by a process of continuous measurement.

The siren 120 alters its sound output so that it is always 5dB louder than the surrounding noise level - within a variable spectrum of 72 to 102dB.

The 1 Hz pulse tone is reduced in quieter surroundings and always remains loud enough, yet not disturbing.

In very loud environments the siren drowns out background noise so that the warning signal is not overheard.

In this way the siren is guaranteed to always be heard yet avoids excessive noise nuisance.

Thanks to the sealed integration of the loudspeaker within the housing the siren 120 is immune to negative environmental influences such as water and dust and achieves a protection rating of IP 65.
