Robust tension load cell suits hopper weighing

Industrial weighing specialists' industrial tension load cells are specifically designed for high capacity hopper weighing and feature a 36mm thread in the top and bottom, for the fitting to supports.

Industrial weighing specialists Weightron Bilanciai are introducing their STI range of industrial tension load cells.

These robust products, which are available in capacities up to 15000kg, are specifically designed for high capacity hopper weighing, especially in the concrete batching industry.

The fully sealed stainless steel construction provides excellent environmental compatibility, and OIML C3 approval makes the load cells suitable for legal-for-trade applications up to 3000 divisions.

Although tension load cells offer a convenient and effective solution for hopper weighing, most units do not have adequate thread size to accommodate appropriate eyebolts or rod-end bearings.

By contrast, the STI features a 36mm thread in the top and bottom, allowing the fitting of support accessories with a high safe working load limit.

The STI is just part of Weightron Bilanciai's range of load cells, which includes shear beams, 'S' beams, canister cells and digital load cells.
