Leaders in standard parts and workholding equipment, Wixroyd International, have just announced they are expanding their range of Grippers.

Leaders in standard parts and workholding equipment, Wixroyd International, have just announced they are expanding their range of Grippers New additions include Hardened Tool Steel Grippers (nos.-3545 - 3549 and 3551) which press down onto the surface of the clamped workpiece to give safe holding without distortion

These Hardened Tool Steel Grippers are especially suitable where a high load or clamping force is applied.

Amazingly adaptable, Wixroyd Grippers can be built into clamps, stops, and fixtures, as well as chucks, vices and robotic grippers for extra grip.

Also new are Wixroyd's Carbide Tipped Grippers (nos.

3530 - 3541) which have specially designed carbide insert pads, making them ideal for more delicate workpieces such as pipes and tubes.

They press down onto the surface of the components to give safe holding without distortion.

Wixroyd have also introduced Adjustable Carbide Tipped Grippers for use in jigs and fixtures, modular fixtures and tooling.

They are especially suitable for holding castings and other components.

Adjustments can be made within the thread length using a hex key.

Last but by no means least, where there is a high load or high clamping force, Wixroyd have introduced, Angle Grip Inserts.

All Wixroyd Grippers are available in a variety of different finishes, sizes, styles and tooth patterns.

It is also worth noting that all Wixroyd Grippers and Inserts complement their extensive range of aligning pads (nos.

3400 - 3416).
