Wittmann UK has appointed Greg Strong as a systems and service engineer will work with automation projects and installations; including Wittmann, Toshiba and Kawasaki robot-based systems.

Wittmann UK, leading automation supplier and materials handling specialist, has appointed Greg Strong as a systems and service engineer Strong's expertise to date has been in the electrical and electronic control and maintenance

He will work across the entire Wittmann UK spectrum of automation projects and installations; including Wittmann, Toshiba and Kawasaki robot-based systems; Wittmann materials handling systems and Wittmann/SunStar polyurethane dispensing systems.

Barry Hill, Wittmann UK managing director, says that 'we are delighted to have Greg join our team.

Control systems continue to develop across all branches of manufacturing and we are happy to have Greg develop his expertise with us at Wellingborough.' Strong's career to date includes positions at Molmac Engineering, SMC Pneumatics, Shencore, and More Control.

He has qualifications and certification in Pneumatics; PLC control; Sensors PNP and NPN; Inverter logic; Analogue I/O; and Rotary encoders.
