Tool Notcher completely supports and guides the tip of the slitting tool as it passes through sheet material and increases the service life and accuracy of punch press slitting tools.

Following the re-design of the Notcher (trademark) stripper plate, Wilson Tool International will increase the service life and accuracy of slitting tools used on most punch presses The advantage of the Wilson Tool Notcher is that it is able to completely support and guide the tip of the slitting tool as it passes through the sheet material

This ensures a more rigid punching operation and reduces the likelihood of edge damage and tool breakage.

Made of hardened tool steel, the Notcher fits directly within the existing Series 80 (registered trademark) Plus and Series 90 (registered trademark) Wilson guide assembly and eliminates the need to purchase a dedicated slitting tool assembly which is recommended by other tool manufacturers.

In addition, the Notcher can be used with a special punch on 'close to clamp' style guide assemblies.
