A Wilson Tool product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Apr 1, 2003

In response to customer demand for special shape 2-D punch press tooling a supplier has added nine of the most popular shapes, developed a further five standard shapes and added them to its range.

In response to customer demand for special shape 2-D punch press tooling, Wilson Tool International has reviewed its production capability at Swindon and added nine of the most popular shapes, developed a further five standard shapes and added them to its range of standard tooling.

As a result, there are now 25 standard shapes in the Wilson range with the additional customer benefit of a set price and, if ordered before 11.00 am, shipment by courier is within 48 hours.

As a result of continued manufacturing investment at Swindon, the company has revised its special tooling service and can now offer a two-day delivery on 2-D special shaped tooling and countersinks and three days for round embosses.

Special extrusion tooling can now be delivered between three and five days and EKOs, lance and form and cluster tooling within five days.

In addition, card guides can now be supplied within 10 days of order.
