Coated tooling available for Wiedemann presses
Wilson Tool International has launched a new range of turret punch press tooling specifically to suit Murata Wiedemann machines.
As part of the manufacturing investment justification, Wilson Tool recently introduced five new standard punch press tool shapes and added nine of its most popular special tools to its off-the-shelf standard range.
By bringing these tools into the set price standard shape portfolio they can now be delivered to the customer's door within 48 hours of order.
The investment programme has seen two further seats of 3-D solid modelling software added to the tool design office with DNC downloading of program files to the shopfloor.
A new high specification CNC lathe has been installed for hard mill/turning, a wire EDM, co-ordinate measuring machine and laser marking system have also been installed.
In addition, two CNC surface grinding machines have been re-engineered by the manufacturer to better than new standard.
