Wilson Tool International has launched a new range of turret punch press tooling specifically to suit Murata Wiedemann machines.
Now, following changes in manufacturing methods, such as in the production of punch press cluster tooling inserts, the company is now machining tooling in the hardened condition and holding tolerances to around three microns, which used to require additional finish grinding processes.
Says European Sales Manager Tony Breakell: "We can now deliver tools such as round embosses within 24 hours of design approval, 2D special shapes and countersink tools in two days and extrusion tools in three days.
