Clamps for European press brakes improved

A Wilson Tool International product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jan 11, 2006

Manual clamps for European style press brakes aree coated with Nitrex, which ensures that the location faces do not become scratched or bruised during the loading or unloading of tooling.

Wilson Tool recently introduced a range of enhanced standard Z1 and Z2 manual clamps for European Style Press Brakes.

The clamps are durable, scratch and corrosion-resistant with the added benefit of Nitrex, which is provided as standard.

The application of Nitrex, which is bespoke to Wilson Tool, ensures that the location faces do not become scratched or bruised during the loading or unloading of tooling.

There are now four configurations for each of the two clamps: Single clamping - Dual clamping - Single interlocking - and Dual interlocking, giving extra flexibility for a variety of forming operations.

Customers will be able to use the interlocking clamps hard up against one another for support over the full length of the form, and the dual clamping facility, enabling punches to be loaded and locked from the front of the machine.

Wilson Tool also supply upgrade kits to convert single clamps to dual clamps (both for interlocking and non-interlocking varieties) for those customers who may need the facility without the costs involved with buying a complete new unit.
