MMA 150A welder generator weighs just 34kg
An air-cooled MMA welder generator - rated at 150A/60% duty cycle - weighs only 34kg, and has chopped DC output that allows it to produce high quality smooth welding characteristics.
Diesel multi-voltage low noise AC generators
Wilkinson Star has announced the launch of the MOSA GE15 PSX-EAS and GE20 PSX-EAS diesel driven multi-voltage low noise AC generators.
The low electrical input makes it ideal for a multitude of applications including general maintenance, automotive body repairs, machinery installation and on-site, including agricultural applications.
When MIG/MAG and TIG welding it is rated at 160A at 35% duty cycle at 40 C, whilst for MMA welding it is rated 130A at 35% duty cycle.
Weighing only 12,5kg and with its easy to grip carrying handle it is very portable.
Using applied technology and built-in synergic programs plus the two knob stepless electronic controls and LED display, it is easy to set up ready for welding.
For MIG/MAG welding, using a 5kg wire spool, the operator simply uses one knob to select the material thickness, wire diameter and type and the shielding gas to be used; If necessary he can fine tune using a second knob and the machine then selects the welding program to be used and the welder can start to weld.
It's versatility allows it to be used for welding mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel; when MMA welding, electrodes up to 3.25mm diameter can be used Optional equipment includes a power source only trolley, a power source and gas cylinder trolley, TIG welding torch with 4m cable and a two stage regulator as well as a welding accessories kit comprising MMA electrode welding torch with 5m cable, earth return lead, welding mask, chipping hammer and wire brush.
The package can be supplemented with a comprehensive range of MIG wires including flux cored wires and TIG welding wires as well as MMA electrodes available from Wilkinson Star.
