Wilkinson Star has announced the promotion of Paul Dempster to Starparts Brand Manager, responsible for the sourcing, marketing and sales of the Starparts brand of welding torches.

Wilkinson Star, the Manchester-based industrial equipment supplier has announced the promotion of Paul Dempster to Starparts Brand Manager.

Paul, who has been with Wilkinson Star for 23 years, has been promoted from Starparts Export Sales Manager, a position he has held since 1998.

He will now be responsible for the sourcing, marketing and sales of the Starparts brand of welding torches and their consumables throughout the World.

These products include high quality compatible parts for all leading brands of MIG, TIG, Plasma and MMA Torches and Consumables Starparts was formed in 1992 and supplies the UK market through a network of authorised distributors and also exports to 45 countries worldwide.

Paul (39) lives in Walkden, Manchester, is married with 3 children and lists watching his sons playing cricket for Lancashire Youth and playing himself for his local club as well as having a general interest in most sports as his outside interests Steve Murray, Managing Director, Wilkinson Star said: "Paul has been with the Company since leaving college and his knowledge, expertise and experience of the Starparts product range as well as the market and our customers has given him the perfect background to take his career forward with the responsibilities of his promotion.
