Witt Gas Techniques is exhibiting on stand 9245 at the PPMA Show 2005 with the new Leak-Master, micro-leak detection systems for finding leaks in individual flexible and rigid food and pharmaceutical packaging.

Based on CO2 detection technology and a new, low cost, leak detection system called Pack-Vac, it operates without the need for a trace gas, said Witt.

As well as a number of existing and new gas distribution, mixing and analysis products, a new gas regulator will be launched.

Existing products include the MFA portable multi-function analyser for the monitoring of O2 and CO2 protective atmospheres in food packaging.

Gas mixers on show include the KM 100-2MEM+, an electronic precision gas mixing system that can be used with most gases except flammable, toxic or aggressive types and is operated using a remote control such as a PC, PLC or pocket PC (PDA).

Oxybaby V, a hand held gas measuring system for food packaging analysis on packaging lines, in warehouses or laboratories, which now has a new packaging line and product type record capability will be demonstrated.

The new capability allows the user to not only identify and record the O2 and CO2, but also the packaging line number or the type of product from which the sample was taken.
