Tool life when cutting hard materials up to 70 HRc is greatly improved, thanks to the development of a PVD-multilayer coating used on solid carbide milling cutters.

A product range as extensive as WNT's guarantees that there will be many new developments to see on stand A42 in Hall 4.
Key among these, though, is Maxiclick, which takes a whole new approach to parting and grooving.
Using an innovative insert design, whereby several inserts are joined together, Maxiclick allows rapid changeover when an edge becomes worn.
The worn edge is moved forward in the toolholder and the blade is then re-clamped.
The worn portion is then simply broken away, using the reverse of the tightening key, in a similar fashion to a craft-type knife blade.
The system offers several advantages, including reduced setting time, extremely narrow blades down to 1.0mm, and a compact design for applications where space is limited.
It also makes possible multiple part-off/groove/turning operations.
Maxiclick is another example of how WNT has developed its product range to provide manufacturing companies with a complete tooling solution.
