Standard cutting tools delivered in UK
within 18h

UK cutting tools supplier says its major investment in logistics helps guarantee delivery by lunchtime the following day of any of 41 000 standard tools ordered by 18.30h the previous evening.

WNT (UK)'s recent attendance at the Autosport Engineering exhibition is part of the Sheffield-based cutting tool specialist's strategy of identifying important market sectors and working closely with them to build market share "The motorsport sector plays a significant part in the projected growth of our business here in the UK," said Tony Pennington, WNT (UK)'s managing director

"The typical supplier to this sector is the small to medium sized sub-contractor and OEM that is an ideal fit with our customer base." He added: "While most businesses have delivery deadlines to meet, those in the motorsport industry are faced with even greater demands for on-time delivery and it is here that WNT is scoring many successes.

Thanks to our major investment in logistics we are able to guarantee delivery of any of the 41 000 items in our standard tool program by lunchtime the following day, with orders being taken up to 6:30 in the evening." It is not all about having tooling on demand though.

WNT has also invested heavily in its technical sales support team and the high level of technical advice available from its 27 strong team of time-served engineers is invaluable when machining the more exotic materials that can be found in the motorsport sector.

This support also ensures that customers are aware of the latest developments and benefit immediately from the major cost savings and productivity gains that result from using the highest quality cutting tools to the best of their ability. Request a free brochure from WNT (UK) ...
