Market leading down draught extraction table manufacturers WorkPoint have now supplied AirBench systems to virtually all the UK based Formula One racing teams or engine builders Long regarded by many as the peak of electro/mechanical engineering; the UK has been a world centre of excellence in Grand Prix engineering for years and the increasing use of AirBench in these high precision environments is a big endorsement of the characteristics of AirBench

Downdraught bench draws down fumes and sparks
A downdraught airbench is able to handle heavy fume and spark loads in applications that call for continuous welding, grinding and fettling.
Whilst AirBench is used in many applications in Grand Prix, leading areas tend to be fettling and finishing of precision engine parts in exotic materials and in carbon fibre component finishing and repair.
High filtration quality, smooth "no attention" operation and very high user friendly factors such as sit down operation, speed control etc., all make AirBench ideally suited to these environments.
A particular favourite has been the recent introduction of model FPK, a fabricated and welded AirBench with a 900 deep surface providing 300mm of knee space and further toe space making precise, seated working very practical without the need for constant adjustment of the extractor.
