Data management user conference educates
Waters' NuGenesis SDMS 2004 user conference can successfully educate markets on laboratory informatics for the enterprise seeds market for paperless laboratory solution, says the company.
Scientists and IT professionals from leading pharmaceutical companies came to hear presentations and engage in interactive sessions focusing on Laboratory Informatics for the enterprise at the third annual Waters NuGenesis SDMS (Scientific Data Management System) 2004 User Conference held at the Hotel Fira Palace in Barcelona, Spain on November 2-3 The conference was designed to educate scientists, laboratory managers and IT managers on the capabilities, technology, and applications of the company's NuGenesis SDMS solution

The Waters NuGenesis SDMS platform and its SDMS Scan-to-Database Application were both showcased at the conference along with Waters new eLab Notebook Software.
eLab Notebook Software electronically captures information spectra, chemical structures, observations, experimental conditions, ideas, findings, images and drawings, tables, spreadsheets, even movies that scientists enter into their present-day notebooks, regardless of the software application's origins.
Scan-to-Database is an SDMS Extended Application software package that provides a means to make legacy paper data live to expand its use by converting it to an electronic format for storage and reuse.
