Designe for the repair of mould tools, laser welding equipment is also intended for manufacture of critical components within the electronics, aerospace, medical and other industries.
These problems inevitably waste time and increase costs during the manufacturing process.
Cost savings and increased productivity can be achieved by the introduction of the centrator Tube Alignment Tool .
No longer does the welder have to fiddle about trying to achieve the perfect fit up.
He simply inserts the centrator into the pipe and by turning the central actuating handle, two sets of conical fingers are drawn together forcing the backing ring segments radially into the bores of the pipes to be aligned.
Operates from 32mm diameter upwards.
Strong clamping forces hold the pipes firmly in close abutment permitting welding to take place without the need for tacking.
Pipes with wall thickness up to 5% of pipe diameter are rounded and pipes up to 12 meters in length can be welded by adding standard extensions.
The tool can also be used on automatic welding stations where thicker wall pipes are welded.
These tools can be operated pneumatically or hydraulically and are used in cross-country pipelines, offshore pipelines and for prefabricating pipe lengths for offshore use.
Further cost savings are achieved on Gas Purge Consumption, because the purging gas is fed into the purge gas manifold and distributed to each individual segment.
Because the gas is concentrated at the underside of the weld, purging is rapid and welding can take place immediately.
Extremely low gas flow rates are used which avoids blowback, and excessive gas consumption.
The centrator is the perfect tool for companies involved in the Tube and Pipe Fabrication Industry.
