Induction heaters heat parts for
fitting, welding
Robust temperature controlled universal induction heaters offer a quick, cost effective and convenient way of heating components, such as bearings, couplings and gears prior to fitting.
The robust new temperature controlled universal Mark 2 Speedfit range and Midi 3 induction heaters from Wyko Industrial Services offer a quick, cost effective and convenient way of heating components, such as bearings, couplings and gears prior to fitting Featuring timer and temperature control functions, the heaters achieve a perfect interference fit quickly and reduce overheating and environmental problems associated with manual methods

Transmission roller chain offers longer life
Transmission roller chain has solid rollers, manufactured to achieve an extremely high surface hardness, and to ensure high wear resistance in hostile environments as well as improving chain life.
Easily portable, they offer the security of a five-year coil warranty and are available in 110V or 240/415V versions, making them ideal for one-off and repetitive jobs in the workshop or on-site.
It is now accepted wisdom that electrical induction heaters are safer, more efficient and environmental friendly than traditional methods such as blow torches, oil baths, ovens and hot plates.
Not only are these other methods more hazardous and often more expensive, but can also reduce the service life of equipment by overheating components, leading to poor fitting and premature bearing failure due to decomposition of lubricants.

Wyko is one of the longest established manufacturers of industrial grade bearing induction heaters and has remained at the forefront of equipment design with NATO approvals to its credit.
Past orders include supplying units to the RAF, companies assembling rolling gear for UK trains and the units are used for such diverse tasks as heating finger size brass couplings in assembly lines to fitting large gears wheels on oil wells in the Middle East.
Over time this has meant that Wyko has obtained extensive experience in the fields of maintenance engineering and electronics; All of this experience is now condensed to bring two new robust units into Wyko's induction heater range.
Both new models are available in 3kW, 4kW or 8kW rated versions and offer improved performance with the benefit of an unprecedented five-year coil warranty.
The top-of-the-range Mark 2 Speedfit induction heaters are portable and available in 110V versions for off-site mobile applications, and standard 240/415V workshop-based models.
Suitable for use with any conductive material from steel to brass, the units can heat components of virtually any shape in a matter of seconds or minutes.
They cater for components up to 900mm (36in) in diameter and are designed for use in different positions, allowing for greater flexibility in maintenance operations.
Also ideal for assembly/fabrication applications, the units can pre-heat components such as bars, tubes before welding or soldering.
As standard, the Speedfit models can feature temperature controls for safeguarding against overheating and accurately monitoring the amount of expansion to avoid deterioration of the component.
For speeding-up of repetitive work, timer controlled units are available as well as optional audio and light signals to alert fitter when the component is ready for assembly; ideal for instances where personnel are working elsewhere in the area.
The smaller Midi 3 units are suitable for use with components up to 15kg and share the same ease of set-up as the Mark 2 Speedfit models.
Midi 3 heaters being timer controlled as standard available in 110/240V supplies, the units form the ideal base for a mobile heating workstation.
As with all Wyko induction systems, it is only the component itself that is heated, attaining improved results through more accurate temperature monitoring.
The robust design of the unit is backed by Wyko offering a five-year warranty on the main coil and both of the units are also simple to maintain and repair.
Wyko can also customise both Speedfit and Midi 3 units for compatibility with two-phase 380V and 415V power supplies for use in large assembly or production lines.
Custom workstations can also be supplied for use with the smallest components, to heating systems for fitting large gears, impellers, motor stators and even train wheels.
12 and 37kW induction heaters are also available on request with custom made workstations and trolleys also available for the Mark 2 Speedfit. Request a free brochure from Eriks UK ...
