Dongbu Steel has selected AIS Steelplanner for the short-term and mid-term scheduling of its mini-mill.
Steelplanner will build mid-term mini-mill schedules, taking into account all major constraints of casting and milling processes.
From the mid-term results, Steelplanner's mini-mill scheduler - Sigmaplanner - will build day-to-day schedules with the objective to maximise production and customer satisfaction.
