Affordable machines are easy to program
XYZ Machine Tools will be highlighting examples from its range of affordable and easy to program CNC machine tools at Tooling 2001 on Stand 1162.
The scheme is designed to enable customers to take advantage of fast new technology without the longer term financial commitment which the purchase of a new machine entails.
"In the present climate, companies are busy but do not necessarily have the forward order books which they are used to" Nigel Atherton, MD of XYZ said.
"The rental scheme will particularly help companies which have short term orders to fulfil but lack confidence in the present market and those which are waiting for grant-support.
It will also give companies an opportunity to experiment with computer control without having to make a long-term financial commitment when they are unsure".
Minimum period for rental is one week, during which the machine enjoys the full no quibble XYZ warranty.
After the one week, the machine can be returned to XYZ at any time at no cost or it can be purchased or financed.
Machines will receive a calibration and service visit after six months.
Rental machines can be purchased at any time during the first year of the rental period.
XYZ will rebate 50% of the rentals received against the list price of the machine at the time the rental agreement started.
Purchased machines will carry a full 12 month XYZ warranty for a period of twelve months from the following day after the rental period finished.
Subject to status, rental agreements are offered with same day approval.
XYZ will invoice the machine at four week intervals; payment is by monthly cheque, standing order or credit card.
"The scheme gives companies the opportunity to experiment with machines they may not be used to" Nigel Atherton said.
"It is easy for us to say that, for instance, a ProtoTRAK machine will double or even treble productivity, is quick to set up and use, will help win orders because it will impress customers, will improve accuracy and quality control.
This scheme gives users the chance to prove -or disprove - our claims for themselves".
Training is offered at GBP 200 + VAT per day at an XYZ site or GBP 300 + VAT at the customer's premises. Request a free brochure from XYZ Machine Tools ...
