Machine tool show generates confirmed
orders
XYZ Machine Tools reports that more than 500 serious enquiries and 12 confirmed orders worth some GBP 300,000 were taken during the MACH 2004 show and a further eight orders after the event.

Given the current level of enquiries, XYZ is confident of securing more orders in the weeks and months ahead.
The Mini Mill 560, for example, was of particular interest to visitors to MACH 2004, its ribbed cast iron construction providing outstanding rigidity and allowing full use of its 8000 rev/min (12,000 rev/min optional) spindle speed and 25m/min rapid traverse rates.
Launched less than a year ago, it has been an outstanding success, with more than 100 of these compact vertical machining centres delivered to customers already.
The Burlescombe, Tiverton-based machine tool supplier has another reason to be cheerful.
It is now 20 years since the business was formed and to celebrate this, and its most profitable year ever, XYZ has extended its exhibition offers, which include special show prices and a finance package that requires only a ?1 deposit while giving a three-month payment holiday at the beginning of the agreement.
