UK CNC machine tools supplier celebrates
UK supplier of conventional and CNC machine tools said two regional Open Days attracted over 200 visitors from 98 companies, who placed orders for 40 machine tools worth over GBP 1 million.
According to XYZ Machine Tools' managing director, Nigel Atherton, the machine tool supplier company enjoyed: "A very successful year." It has the easy-to-use Siemens 810D conversational control and has X- and Z-axis travels of 185mm and 325mm.
First deliveries are scheduled for February 2008.
Atherton is predicted, on the basis of the interest shown at the Nuneaton event, that this new machine with its 1700mm (W) by 1300mm (D) 'footprint' will be particularly attractive to smaller companies where floor space is at a premium.
