Following the recently announced changes to Yamazaki Mazak1s Midlands regional sales team, Jason Butler has joined the organisation as an area sales manager, his appointment completing the re-structuring of the Midlands sales activities.
Jason, who took up his new role in July, will have responsibility for Yamazaki Mazak sales in the Birmingham area, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire.
Well experienced, having worked in production and manufacturing engineering - notably in the aerospace sector - Jason subsequently spent eight years in machine tool marketing and sales before joining Yamazaki Mazak.
Chris Chilton, who has an HNC in Mechanical Engineering, has been employed by Yamazaki Mazak in its manufacturing operations since 1995, working initially in Machining and more recently in Production Engineering.
