More power added to multi-tasking
turning centres
Latest developments in powerful multi-tasking mill-turning machine tools combine the characteristics of a machining centre and lathe into one CNC machine.
The Mazak Integrex III series is the latest development to the world's most advanced range of powerful multi-tasking machine tools, offering exceptional versatility and combining the turning and milling performance of both a dedicated lathe and a machining centre in a single machine In common with all of the new Integrex models, the Integrex 100 III and 400 III featured at EMO offer advanced simultaneous 5 axis capability but now with more power to the milling spindle and higher speeds permitting efficient machining in both steels and aluminium alloys

Yamazaki to stage 'EMO Encore' for UK buyers
UK buyers and specifiers of machine tools who were unable to attend the EMO exhibition can view and assess new Mazak machine tools at Yamazaki Machinery, Worcester, January 29-February 1.
On the III series machines there is the option of a lower turning turret which allows simultaneous turning from top and bottom tooling, producing significantly shorter machining cycles.
This allows internal and external turning or four axis turning using both tool holders.
Alternatively both the tool stations can operate simultaneously on the main and second spindles.
This lower turret expands the turning operation capabilities on chuck, bar and shaft workpieces.
For extended machining operations in unmanned environments multi-bar feeding equipment can be fitted as can automated gantry loading.
In addition to the Integrex 100 III and 400 III series machines, an Integrex 200 III was also featured on the Mazak stand.
