Binns and Berry has won an order to supply a custom heavy duty CNC lathe to manufacture, and re-manufacture, Caterpillar off road vehicle components in Indonesia.
Binns and Berry, Halifax, UK, is supplying a single machine solution for the manufacture, and re-manufacture of Caterpillar off road vehicle components in Indonesia The contract was successfully won despite strong competition from an Asian competitor

In addition to the interchangeable turret and superfinishing head to the front of the cross-slide, the machine will also be equipped with GE Fanuc 18i CNC and high-pressure coolant.
