A key requirement of the Brazilian Market is the need for application acceleration, a particular strength of Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager

Zeus Technology, a leading provider of application traffic management software, has announced its partnership with Brazilian distributor, Servix Informatica By adding ZXTM (Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager) to their portfolio, Servix Informatica, a long established distributor of HP hardware, will be in a unique position to offer Brazilian customers the full flexibility and return on investment benefits of a software based load balancer/traffic manager deployment

"Because of the high import duties placed on hardware, software solutions are particularly attractive for both customers and resellers in Brazil," said Ronaldo Yamashita, Technical Director of Servix Informatica.

"A permanent software licence, gives greater return on investment".

When the hardware component of a load balancer of traffic manager requires replacing due to age or failure, our customers will not be left with the high cost of buying a whole new Load balancing appliance..

Additionally ZXTM's resilience, rich feature set and impressive performance capability, make it an advanced competitor to other traffic managers that are only available as appliances.

A key requirement of the Brazilian Market is the need for application acceleration, a particular strength of ZXTM that first attracted Servix Informatica's interest.

In addition ZXTM's session persistence capability impressed the experts at Servix Informatica because ZXTM can read and understand requests, and then direct appropriately, maintaining application sessions where required.

Servix Informatica will also work directly with ITLOG, responsible for Zeus' successful entry into the Brazilian market in early January 2007.

Servix Informatica have system engineers trained on the full functionality of ZXTM and are able to offer frontline support, putting them in a very strong position for future sales.

ZXTM is the only traffic management solution available as both an appliance and as a software platform to run on existing datacentre servers and blades and in virtualised environments, providing customers with the ultimate flexibility in choosing a product that suits their technology and business needs.

"As one of the leading economies in South America, we see huge growth potential in Brazil," said Paul Di Leo, CEO, Zeus Technology.

"Zeus is proud to count Servix Informatica as a partner in this booming market".

"As a pure software solution ZXTM allows our partners to deploy ZXTM on their preferred platform and operating system of choice, increasing the competitiveness of our partners and providing them with unique differentiation".
