Oil coolers ensure high speeds are
maintained
Oil coolers provide the optimum control of heat to ensure improved machine tool performance in the face of ever increasing demands for higher speed operation and improved levels of precision.
ZF Industrial's new range of oil coolers provide the optimum control of heat to ensure improved machine tool performance in the face of ever increasing demands for higher speed operation and improved levels of precision Compact, easy to fit and providing up to 4500kcal/H cooling capacity, the oil coolers are designed for use with a host of machine tools including CNC machining centres, grinders, broaching machines, lathes, EDM machines and milling systems

Gearboxes speed machining centre assembly
The key to fast deliveries on AB Marwin machining centres is ZF's two speed gearboxes, which are an essential component in this approach.
ZF's new oil coolers improve machine performance - and the quality of final parts, by precisely controlling the temperature of oil used to lubricate high-speed spindles.
As a result, spindle accuracy is maintained and improved, and tool life is extended.
In addition, the closer control of coolant temperature means that deviations from the centre-line on high-speed spindles are avoided, and also the possible distortion of machined parts due to excessive heat.
Finally, the ZF coolers provide the added benefit of stabilising oil pressure, enabling the machine user to avoid the effects of oil shocks on the precision of the machining process.
With five models in the range, providing from 1250 - 4500kcal per hour cooling capacities and differential temperature control of -10 to +10degC, ZF can provide the ideal solution for retrofit and OEM machine builders alike.
All of the units offer an ambient temperature control of 10-40øC and oil temperatures from 10-45degC.
They are easy to install, use and maintain, while offering the user the added benefit of low noise operation.
The oil coolers are backed-up by the resources of one of the most respected manufacturers of driveline technology in the world.
ZF Industrial is part of the worldwide ZF Group of companies with production centres, partners and representatives on every continent.
In the industrial sector, ZF is at the forefront of developments, from individual units to complete systems solutions for all types of machinery and production units, including those used in robotic systems and the fast growing factory automation sector.
