Block foams manufactured into packaging
Block foam supplier helps UK university students design and manufacture usable aerospace and automotive packaging products in high performance foams.
Available in a variety of colours for easy identification, Azote foams are durable and resilient, providing protection for fragile automotive components and sub assemblies.
They can be tailored to fit individual components providing sufficient hold for optimum protection, whilst offering easy access for improved ergonomic efficiency, said the company.
Azote foams are expanded physically, using nitrogen, in a process that creates low odour, highly pure foams, with excellent chemical and water resistance, that are completely non-corroding and non-staining, added Zotefoams.
Converted in to complete tote inserts, Azote foams are said to grip components firmly yet softly.
They can be fabricated in to supports in other bespoke packaging applications and are even used as a soft touch laminated coverings on vacuum formed trays.
Those foams are also available in both conductive and static dissipative grades for the safe transport and storage of electronic equipment and components that could be damaged by static.
With densities from 15 grammes per cubic metre to 140 grammes per cubic metre, Azote foams can be selected with the rigidity or flexibility to protect virtually any component from audio systems to seat assemblies to body panels, added the company.
Where stand-alone dunnage is required for heavier parts, such as separating windscreens and panels, for instance, Zotefoams is able to offer foamed HDPE with inherent rigidity, said the company. Request a free brochure from Zotefoams ...
