Rotary broach designed for Swiss-type lathes

A Schlitter Tool product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Aug 18, 2008

Schlitter's said that its Baby-Swiss Rotary Broaching Attachment can help machine high quality bone screws and other medical components with confidence and ease.

The HexMaster 5000 Series has been optimised for small part production on Swiss CNC lathes.

This design eliminates the need to manually centre the tool and maximises quality and efficiency for trouble-free operation.

SCHLiTTER said that this holder is ideal for Swiss CNC automatics and screw machines and wherever space is at a premium.

The tool can be used for hexagonal, square and spline shapes up to 10mm in diameter.

SCHLiTTER told manufacturingtalk that the 5000 Series picks up the part faster, broaches deeper, and outlasts other holder designs.

Designed and built in the United States, its novel trouble-free design and industry leading performance make the HexMaster 5000 Series the tool-of-choice for rotary broaching small parts.
